The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who can challenge themselves to solve complex problems with the best possible solutions and critical thinking. This is an exciting, dynamic, and challenging position, and we are looking for people with initiative, drive, teamwork, and relevant experience in the industry. The hired employee will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource center as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain APIs for a data aggregation and transactional platform.
• Collaborate with local and remote development team members, as well as product and development managers, to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Implements and maintains code in the existing SQL databases.
• Prior experience working with Azure Cloud and on-premises applications
• Demonstrates best software engineering practices.
• Ensure product quality, consistency, and performance through code reviews and by actively participating in team discussions.

1. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Excellent communication skills in English.
3. Good interpersonal skills and communication are required.
4. Ability to work in coordination with both onshore and offshore development teams across time zones.

5. Strong knowledge of rest-based APIs.
6. Strong knowledge of SQL-based databases.
7. Strong knowledge of C# and Dotnet Core.
8. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React .
9. Developer-level knowledge of the Azure Cloud, including serverless functions.
10. Desirable knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipelines
11. Desirable knowledge of NoSQL databases
12. Sound mentoring and coaching skills.
