Job Description
Position Summary:
The primary role of the Junior Desktop admin is to perform Ideal and Infinity hosting implementation. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to work with dealers to perform Client Installations, Configuring Ideal and Infinity Applications, Data migration using existing scripts troubleshooting and analysis. Emphasis in this role is on learning and growth, with a focus on following processes and checklists and client communication.
Required Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting Ethernet and IP configuration
- Proficiency in Microsoft support tools, such as DNS, storage and networking
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Interpersonal skills, such as empathizing with angry users
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of patch management and software distribution
B.S. degree or higher in CIS/MIS or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of 1-year Desktop support experience
