The Division:

Kinetic Solutions is a part of the Volaris operating group of Constellation Software Inc. It is a leading provider of comprehensive (ERP) software solutions for student accommodation, conference and event management to Higher Education institutions, venues, and conference centers. Headquartered in Milton Keynes, UK, with additional offices in Boston, U.S. and Auckland, New Zealand. More than 260 customers in the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, and Australia use different combinations of the Kinetic student accommodation, conferencing, and hospitality products. There are currently around 50 employees based in Milton Keynes.

The Position:

We are currently in the process of porting our existing client/server enterprise software to a web-based, multi-tenant cloud solution. We are looking for a Software Developer, from any technical background, who has experience of modern cloud-based systems development.
 
The selected candidate will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
 
Required Qualifications & Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Significant commercial experience of a modern JavaScript framework such as ReactJS or VueJS.
• Significant commercial experience of modern HTML and CSS.
• Significant experience developing enterprise software OR high-volume web development
• Understanding of agile principles.
• Practical experience of a test-first approach is nice to have
• Development experience with AWS, Docker, DynamoDB and Elasticsearch is nice to have.
• Experience of building Serverless application with Lambda/Fargate is nice to have.
• Awareness of Continuous delivery and Lean principles is nice to have.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
