The Position:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer who is experienced in the ways of highly scalable systems based in AWS. The hired candidate will work out of the Contour Software Islamabad office as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
This is a senior-level developer position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical deliverables and guide the work of at least one junior-level developer who will also be added to the team at Contour.
Responsibilities
- Configure test and production environments.
- Configure application and performance monitoring.
- Development.
- Code review.
- Provide feedback and constructive critiques of system design.
- Represent developers at regular stand-up meetings.
- Provide input on managing costs within AWS infrastructure.
Required Qualifications and Skills - BS or higher in CIS, MIS, CS, or other appropriate fields of study. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- At least 6 years of professional experience with at least three years in cloud services.
- C# programming using .Net Framework and/or .Net Core.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise in major AWS Compute and Database solutions, including but not limited to:
- EC2 and/or Lambda
- SQS
- Dynamo or Aurora and/or RDS (candidates with experience in both NoSQL and relational are preferred)
- AWS Batch
- Lightsail
Nice to Have: - Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Elastic Search
- A basic understanding of real estate data concepts
