The Position
TIC Systems is looking for a full-time SQA Automation Analyst. Aligned with TIC Systems company principles, you will help ensure that TIC Systems software meets our highest quality standards. The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for the development of automation software testing our IMS for the TIC (Testing Inspection Certification) industry.

Ideal candidates are expected to engage in a steep learning curve on the industry we serve quickly and join the development team. Our candidates shall be able to create Automation Testing at scale working with our CI/CD goals to deliver functionality to our industry more quickly.
The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.


Candidate Profile
You will be comfortable interacting with developers with different backgrounds and able to work with minimal supervision. You need to have proficient knowledge in configuring the tools youre working with and steps to resolve them when a situation like false positives and false negatives arises. You believe in good coding practices, such as modularity, readability, documentation, and version control.
Required Qualifications & Skills (MUST HAVE)

• BS degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• 2-5 years of test automation experience.
• Good experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Incumbents should also mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support.
• Create tests that can test Excel workbooks and data parsing.
• Knowledge of APIs or any web services connected to the application and their working.

• Previous experience with cloud development and working with CI/CD.
• Have a strong team ethic.
• Complete their own role independently or with minimal supervision.
• Have a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
• Exposure to the TIC industry.
• ISTQB - CT-TAE & CTFL-AT Certified or similar.
• Experience with Performance / Security testing.
• Exposure to PHP (ideally 8+) (Zend Framework), JS, React, Postgres, JSON, Excel testing.

• Transforming our manual tests into Automated tests.
• Creating and performing Automated Tests and working with CI/CD.
• Lead the ongoing process for automation development.
• Help define the tasks for our development team to assist in your testing role.
• Operate in an agile environment, delivering tasks on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
• Assisting in the planning, scheduling and delivery of software releases.
• Work on all stages of the SDLC using a range of tech.
• Collaborate with a team of various developers and QA, and mentor/coach junior members.

• Playwright / Cypress / Selenium 3+ years (preferred)
• Working with PHP applications: 3+ years
• Working with JS / REACT: 3+ years.
