The Division

The Constellation Real Estate Group M&A team acquires real estate software companies that are committed to providing long-term solutions and partnerships with franchises, brokers, agents, MLSs, and associations. Over 500,000 real estate agents, teams, and brokerages across North America rely on the Constellation Real Estate Group's products and services to power, manage, and grow their businesses. The team has also recently entered the mortgage technology market and is seeking further acquisitions in other subsegments of real estate technology.

The Position

The Business Development Representatives (BDR) holds an important position at the top of the acquisition funnel for the company. The primary responsibility will be to arrange meetings between the M&A team and decision makers of potential acquisition targets through great first impressions. Specifically, this role involves communicating with North American business owners, CEO's, and Presidents to establish meetings for the M&A team.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the M&A team to achieve acquisition objectives
  • Stay current with Constellation's products and services
  • Leverage an existing database to create effective outreach plan through phone, email and social outreach: minimum 60 outreaches per day
  • Engage and nurture contacts
  • Schedule appointments for M&A Associates
  • Manage database to target prospective customers in alignment with overall sales strategy
  • Leverage CRM and other tools to document tasks and prospect information
  • Share, learn, and collaborate to improve execution and drive results
  • Ability to work 8AM-5PM EST

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from Europe or UK preferred
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or other)
  • Real estate domain knowledge as asset but not required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
